Key Job Responsibilities:The Student Mentor is a crucial figure in the Vidyapeeth Residential Program (VP-RP). This role entails creating an inclusive and supportive environment for students, fostering positive relationships, and addressing both academic and non-academic issues.Some of the key responsibilities include:Ensuring timely collection of hostel consulting feesCommunicating with students and parents regarding fee paymentsUpdating parents on student progress, concerns, and achievementsThe Mentor also plays a significant role in building rapport with students, providing emotional support, and maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. Additionally, they oversee transportation, accompany students during travels, and implement safety protocols.Other key responsibilities include:Managing hostel registration, attendance, and biometric check-in processesMaintaining accurate recordsHandling inquiries and complaintsCollaborating with administrative staffEstablishing and enforcing hostel rules and regulations, promoting discipline and mutual respect, addressing disciplinary issues, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene practices are all essential aspects of this role.Required Skills and Qualifications:To excel in this position, candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, as the Mentor will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
