With a significant presence in global capital markets, the firm invests in a wide range of companies and financial instruments across both developed and emerging economies.They are seeking a skilled software developer with a strong understanding of networking technologies to join their Platform Engineering team, based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional team, focused on software development to support infrastructure engineering projects and on maintaining and enhancing the firm's technology platforms.What You Will Do Day-to-DayLead projects involving research and development to evaluate appropriate technologies.Resolve application and data issues in production within defined timelines.Drive full project lifecycles-from requirements gathering to delivery.Design, implement, and manage the firm's network automation infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams.Contribute to engineering projects and provide tier 2/3 operational support to improve configurability, observability, supportability, and reliability of the enterprise technology environment.Develop, support, and maintain automation tools to enable network engineers to work more efficiently.Upgrade and/or redesign existing infrastructure to enhance performance and stability.Who We Are Looking ForBasic Qualifications:A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.At least 3 years of software development experience, ideally with a focus on networking.Strong understanding of software development and maintenance, the software development lifecycle, and proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Golang, etc.Familiarity with enterprise software development stacks and software management frameworks.Experience designing and implementing performant, reliable, and secure network automation systems.Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with diagnostic tools on Linux.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP stack.
