Job Description:JJob Title: Senior Production Manager – Garment IndustryLocation: Howrah,DhulagoriExperience: 10+ YearsDepartment: Production & OperationsReports To: Factory Head / Operations DirectorJob Overview:We are hiring a Production Manager with proven experience in kidswear production. Candidates with a background in managing the manufacturing of children's apparel—especially in export or domestic brands—will be preferred."Key Responsibilities for Production manager:Lead end-to-end production planning and execution for garment manufacturing.Oversee production units and ensure adherence to quality and delivery timelines.Coordinate with key departments including SCM, sampling, trims sourcing, and warehousing.Manage outsourcing and job work for embroidery, printing, and made-up garments.Optimize machine and manpower utilization to meet production targets.Maintain and update order MIS, T&A plans, and ensure timely shipment.Focus on OTP (On-Time Production) delivery, especially for small and urgent orders.Interpret and document customer requirements based on BOM (Bill of Materials).Ensure smooth coordination across departments for efficient workflow.Set production goals and implement corrective measures as needed.Supervise inventory control and store management.Monitor and maintain cost efficiency in production processes.Handle crisis management situations with effective solutions.Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the production team.Conduct regular team meetings and resolve operational challenges.Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.Negotiate with vendors and ensure cost-effective sourcing and outsourcing.Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and service.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the production department.Maintain compliance with safety, labor, and quality standards.Key responsibilities for Quality ManagerLook after the finishing of the garments as per company quality standards.•ResponsiblefortheInspection offabric(asper"4"point system)&fabricquality•ResponsibleforPPSample,Gpt ,Fpt•Responsibleforfinishing&qualityofgarments•ResponsiblefortheGSM Test.•ResponsibleforShrinkageTest•ResponsiblefortheGRN,Po'schecking.•ResponsibleforTheFabric,TrimsRelatedProblem,InformThemViaProperChanneltoSupplier&ArrangeReturn.•Look after the supply of fabric & trims ,others material to jobber for smooth production•Communication & followupWithJobberandVendorOverE-mailandVerballyRegarding production& Quality for timely delivery of finished garments.•Manpowerhandling&factoryoperationdailywise.•Dailyfollowuptojobbersregardingproductionularvisit•MakingDailyworkreport& mailed tomanagementRequired Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, counseling, and negotiation abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of garment/textile manufacturing processesProficient in production MIS tools and ERP systemsStrategic thinker with hands-on planning and execution capability
