Exposure to GCP is preferable.● Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.● Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including networking (VPC, VPN, firewall rules), storage, and compute resources.● Experience with incident management tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).● Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.● Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure issues.● Familiarity with Linux system administration and command-line tools.● Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.● Understanding of security best practices in cloud environmentsSoft Skills ➔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.➔ He/She will be open to work in a 24x7 model to ensure all the services are being delivered within SLAs➔ Experience working in a 24/7 support or managed services environment is a plus.➔ Creative thinking and ability to innovate, problem-solving skills, escalation handling and customer success.➔ Customer service obsession with strong interpersonal skills are a must.➔ Ability to work cross-functionally for the greater good of the company➔ A passion for the service delivery excellence➔ Skilled in handling numerous projects simultaneously.➔ Engage directly with end users to collect requirements and advise on data integration solutions➔ Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development.➔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and troubleshoot issues in platform engineering processes.
