Our Ideal candidate:


We are looking for a Computer Vision engineer to build a machine vision system at AlphaStream. our Ideal candidates should love the field of computer vision, have a knack for the fundamentals of computer vision and should thrive in exploratory product development. Someone who has trained different kinds of CV models for different use cases and has a fast Iteration mindset would fit in well

We expect you to have experience in the following:


Semantic Segmentation

Object Detection

OCR - Character detection and Extraction

Handling noisy images


Role and responsibilities:

  • Reading research papers and implementing state-of-the-art techniques
  • Explorative research of current state of art models and benchmarking them in a different environment
  • Rapidly extending publicly available code modules to work on custom problems
  • Software development of machine learning back-end
  • Rapid experimentation, analysis, and deployment of machine/deep learning models
  • Working on cutting-edge technology in object detection, classification,OCR
  • Model Optimization while training and on pretrained models
  • Propose and Iterate on model training pipeline for the specific requirement
  • Constant research and exploration in the field of computer vision


Qualifications and Skills required:

  • BE/Mtech in Computer Science
  • Hands-on experience in deep/machine learning for computer vision of 4+ years (extensive experience OpenCV, PyTorch)
  • Hands-on experience in Python with 4+ years of in-depth system-building experience
  • Smart programmers with strong analytical skills
  • Strong skills in software prototyping and engineering with expertise in Python is required
  • Good in Data-structures and Algorithms
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
