As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating engineering drawings, performing design engineering tasks, utilizing SolidWorks software, and contributing to mechanical engineering and product design projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of design projects.Key role and responsibilities:Experience of working in deliverables for Automotive/Consumer Durables manufacturing, process equipment and supporting utility systems is an added advantageFamiliarity with Automotive/Consumer industry standards is an added advantageProficient in AutoCAD 2DProficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D and NavisworksProficient in reading/drawing and verifying P&IDs, PFDs, Layouts and other System DrawingsKnowledge of other 3D software such as SolidWorks.Experience with Casting Forging and Machining category is mandatory.RequirementsBachelor's/diploma degree in mechanical engineering.4+ years of relevant experience in designing.Proficiency in engineering Drawings & Design, and Computer-Aided Design (Solidworks, AutoCAD).Experience in product design and developmentAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
