Senior Statistical Programmer Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistical Programmer to play a key role in generating summary tables, data listings, graphs and derived datasets as specified in the statistical analysis plan and programming specifications.Key responsibilities include ensuring outputs meet quality standards and project requirements. The position involves working closely with other Statistical Programmers, Biostatisticians, and project team members to resolve discrepancies or findings.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing specifications for datasets and outputs according to statistical and sponsor requirements. This includes anticipating and addressing potential programming issues, establishing efficient programming practices, and accurately defining variables to be accepted by peer review and sponsor/requestor with minimal rework.Maintaining well-organized, complete and up-to-date project documentation, verification/quality control documents and programs is also a crucial part of this role. Scheduling and time constraints across multiple projects will need to be managed effectively, setting goals based on priorities from management and adapting to timeline or priority changes by reorganizing daily workload.Develop high-quality summary tables, data listings, and graphs according to statistical analysis plans and programming specifications.Ensure outputs meet quality standards and project requirements through close collaboration with other team members.Develop specifications for datasets and outputs according to statistical and sponsor requirements.Maintain organized project documentation, verification/quality control documents, and programs.
