Senior Buyer

Our company is a leading player in the personal care industry, offering innovative products that cater to diverse consumer needs. We are seeking a Senior Executive – Packaging Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement for skincare and cosmetics packaging materials.This role requires a strong understanding of vendor development, cost optimization, and quality control to ensure timely and sustainable packaging solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sourcing and procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials, as well as collaborating with R&D and Quality teams to align packaging procurement with technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Packaging Procurement: Manage sourcing and procurement of packaging materials to meet business needs.Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.Negotiation & Cost Control: Execute procurement strategies to optimize cost and lead time.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.Innovation & Sustainability: Partner with suppliers to introduce eco-friendly packaging solutions.Requirements:Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Packaging Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.Experience: 2–4 years of packaging procurement experience in skincare, cosmetics, or personal care industry.Skills:Strong analytical and negotiation skillsSound understanding of packaging materials and processesProficiency in ERP/SAP or similar procurement toolsResponsibilities include process management, performance monitoring, and maintaining supplier databases.
