Our objective is to integrate Artificial Intelligence capabilities into all enterprise applications, enabling customers to fully leverage their business data. We are responsible for foundational solutions such as SAP Generative AI Hub, AI Core, and AI Launchpad, which assist application AI developers in embedding AI functionality within their products. The team operates from locations in Germany, Singapore, and India, fostering an environment characterised by innovation and a dynamic, start-up culture.What You'll DoAs a Backend Developer on the Prompt Evaluation, Optimization & Metering Platform, you'll improve prompt accuracy and billing reliability. Work with engineers, architects, and product managers to develop robust systems for prompt engineering and metering services. You will also gain expertise in metering and billing, key team responsibilities.Your tasks will include:Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and GIdentify and resolve data inconsistencies and billing inaccuracieBuild systems with observability features and fault tolerancCollaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologieParticipate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectiveDevelop skills in metering and billing fundamentals to enhance domain expertisUse Kubernetes and Argo for deployment and workflow orchestratioMaintain code quality and operational readiness through automation and testingWhat You BringBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field4–8 years backend development experienceProficient in Python and GoMicroservices and RESTful API expertiseKubernetes and Argo Workflows familiarityExperience with AWS, GCP, or AzureCollaborative, adaptable to global teamsStrong problem-solving and attention to detailEager to learn and improveNice to HaveUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with observability tools and performance monitoringKnowledge of distributed systems and data consistency modelsBring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
