Job Role:The Senior Director - Technology Risk will spearhead technology and cyber risk management, ensuring effective governance, identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive technology risk management framework, policies, and standards across the organization.Establish robust governance mechanisms to monitor and report technology, cybersecurity, and operational resilience risks.Oversee risk assessments, control testing, and scenario analyses across infrastructure, applications, and emerging technologies.Drive initiatives related to business continuity, disaster recovery, and third-party risk management in alignment with regulatory guidelines (e.g., DORA, FFIEC).Partner with Technology, Cybersecurity, Operations, and Risk teams to embed a risk-aware culture and ensure effective control implementation.Liaise with internal audit, regulators, and external auditors to demonstrate a strong control environment and timely remediation of findings.Lead and mentor a high-performing team of risk professionals; build capability around new risk domains such as cloud, AI/ML, and data privacy.Required Skills & Qualifications:20+ years of experience in Technology Risk, Operational Risk, or Cyber Risk Management within a global bank or financial services organization.Strong knowledge of technology frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL).Hands-on experience with risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), issue management, and risk reporting.Familiarity with global regulatory requirements (e.g., OCC, PRA, RBI).Experience in managing cross-border stakeholders and influencing at senior leadership levels.Excellent analytical, communication, and people leadership skills.About This Role:This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in technology risk management.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology risk and be able to drive strategic initiatives forward.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
