The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Big Query, and be capable of writing efficient SQL queries to support data transformation, analytics, and reporting tasks.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement data solutions using Big Query and GCP-native services.Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysisBuild and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics use casesPerform data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data integrityCollaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data needsWrite Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight data processing tasksMonitor and improve performance of Big Query workloads and queriesMaintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and processesRequired Skills & Qualifications:5 - 12 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics or BI developmentProven hands-on experience with Google Big Query and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow optional)Strong expertise in SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functionsBasic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and automationUnderstanding of data warehouse concepts, data modelling and normalizationFamiliarity with version control systems like Git
