The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves meticulous record-keeping, evaluating financial reports, and collaborating with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.QualificationsProficiency in Accounts Payable Management (vendor invoices, payments, PO, reimbursements & Settlements).Perform reconciliation on a periodic basis.Compliance & reporting: Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, Prepare AP-related MIS reports. Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for timely resolution of queriesStrong understanding of compliance with financial regulationsAttention to detail and excellent analytical skillsKnowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)Maintain proper records and documentation of all agreements/contractsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel3–5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or general accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field ( B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter).Experience in the sports industry is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a team
