The team also provides reporting support for tracking and measurement along with driving rapid insights. The team leverages data analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions, recommend data driven price changes and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve category wise goals.Job Summary:The 'Sr. Analyst – Pro Pricing' is responsible for Pro specific strategic price test development, Data driven price change recommendation & measurement, and ad hoc work supporting Lowe's strategic pricing efforts. In this role, the Sr Analyst will be assisting the Sr. Pricing Analysts & Pricing Managers in developing, modeling, communicating, and tracking performance of new initiatives related to Pro Pricing.Roles & Responsibilities:Core Responsibilities:Responsible for providing cluster-specific data analytics, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting & insights.Perform Pro customer specific research, design, and develop applicable statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).Partner with Pro pricing team, Pricing Ops, and Finance to align on tacticsBuild and maintain reporting tools to track Pro pricing effectivenessDeep dive into PRO customer behavior to support tailored pricing modelsGenerate rapid insights as per business needsAssists with troubleshooting & performs root cause analysisDisciplined approaches to data policies, data quality, data management and business processesOwns the communication and progress updates on price changes and reporting tasks, and provides best internal experiencePartners with the right teams for any issues needing resolutionPartners with SSC - B (Bangalore) and SSC - M (Mooresville, US) teamsYears of Experience:3 to 6 YearsEducation QualificationRequired Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree plus 1+ years' experience in an analytical role OR 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional environmentSkill Set RequiredPrimary Skills (must have)Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline plus 3+ years' experience in analytical roleExperience in Data mining and visualization tool such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL)Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
