Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Annotator to join our AI team for a short-term internship. As a Data Annotator, you will play a critical role in preparing high-quality annotated data to train machine learning models. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about AI and eager to gain hands-on experience in data preparation and annotation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Annotate and label various types of images and other data according to project guidelines and specifications. 
  • Review annotated data for accuracy and completeness, making adjustments as needed. 
  • Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers to ensure high-quality annotated data for machine learning models. 
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of annotated data and any changes made during the annotation process. 
  • Continuously learn and apply new annotation techniques and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Communicate any issues or challenges with data annotation to project leads in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Adhere to project deadlines and deliver annotated data within predetermined timelines. 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Basic understanding of data annotation tools and techniques. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. 
  • Familiarity with image recognition, AI/ML concepts, or labeling software is a plus. 

Preferred Candidates: 

  • Applicants must demonstrate hands-on project experience or coursework related to data annotation, rather than extensive professional experience. 
  • Preference will be given to individuals with academic exposure to annotation tools rather than commercial project work. 
  • The internship is strictly entry-level and designed for those seeking their first professional experience in data annotation.
