We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team and contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Application Security Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the security of our software applications. This includes participating in and supporting application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing.The selected candidate will also own and perform application security vulnerability management, facilitate and support the preparation of security releases, and consult with product and development teams in application security.Furthermore, this role will involve assisting in the creation of security training, developing automated security testing to validate secure coding best practices, and supporting dynamic and static vulnerability scanning tools.Required Skills and QualificationsFamiliarity with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws is required.Basic development or scripting experience and skills are also necessary.The ideal candidate should have experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS is also expected.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner are essential.Experience identifying security issues through code review is also preferred.BenefitsWork-life balance with flexible remote work arrangements.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Other InformationEqual Opportunity Employer.Committed to creating an inclusive environment for all colleagues.
