About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Managers to lead client delivery across multiple accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, delivering client projects, ensuring operational excellence, fostering employee development, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Delivery Manager Responsibilities (16+ Years Experience)


Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement long-term delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Foster innovation in delivery methodologies and technologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's growth

Pre-Sales and Bid Management

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including client meetings and proposal presentations
  • Lead effort estimation processes for complex projects and programs
  • Develop comprehensive bid responses, ensuring technical and commercial viability
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create winning strategies for high-value opportunities

Project and Program Management

  • Oversee multiple large-scale, complex projects and programs simultaneously
  • Ensure successful delivery of both application development and support projects
  • Implement and maintain robust project governance frameworks
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies

Application Development

  • Guide architectural decisions for large-scale application development projects
  • Ensure adoption of best practices in software development lifecycles
  • Oversee integration of emerging technologies into development processes
  • Drive initiatives for code quality, performance optimization, and scalability

Application Support

  • Establish and optimize application support processes and SLAs
  • Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance strategies
  • Oversee incident management and problem resolution processes
  • Drive continual service improvement initiatives

Financial Management

  • Achieve revenue and profit targets for the delivery organization
  • Optimize resource utilization and control project costs
  • Oversee accurate and timely client invoicing processes
  • Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting

Quality and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards across all projects
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems
  • Oversee regular quality audits and drive improvements based on findings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and client requirements

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline delivery processes to enhance efficiency and reduce overheads
  • Implement and optimize project management tools and systems
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for measuring delivery performance
  • Drive automation initiatives in development, testing, and support processes

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing delivery teams
  • Develop succession plans for key roles within the delivery organization
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Manage performance and career progression of team members

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic clients
  • Conduct regular governance meetings with key stakeholders
  • Proactively manage client expectations and ensure high satisfaction levels
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and expansion


Technology Experience:

Possess hands-on experience in at least one of the following technology stacks:

  • Java ecosystem: Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Apache Tomcat
  • .NET ecosystem: C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server
  • Full-stack JavaScript: Node.js, Express.js, React/Angular/Vue.js, MongoDB
  • Python ecosystem: Django or Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL
