Role Overview:

The Value Chain Analyst will lead research and analysis of existing and potential value chains in the two program sites. The role involves designing and implementing methodologies, conducting stakeholder consultations, and generating evidence-based insights to inform promotion strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Lead the approach for value chain scoping and analysis with a sustainability lens.

● Identify essential stakeholder groups and develop robust field survey instruments.

● Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field surveys.

● Lead technical discussions on prioritisation and analysis of value chains.

● Draft and deliver high-quality technical reports, including value chain maps and sustainability analysis.

● Coordinate closely with consortium partners, and project stakeholders throughout the assignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

● Master's in Environmental Science, Forestry, Business Administration, or related field.

● English & Hindi proficiency

● 8 years of professional experience in sustainability, natural resources management and/or nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain analysis and promotion activities; at least 4 years of the total experience in projects in India.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

● Advanced skills in value chain analysis, including sustainability dimensions.

● Field survey design, stakeholder engagement, and interview facilitation.

● Report writing and technical presentation skills.

● Ability to lead and mentor junior staff and enumerators.
