Automation ExpertWe are seeking a skilled Automation Expert to lead the migration of our source control system from Perforce to GitHub. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing automated workflows to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining data integrity and repository structure.The Automation Expert will be responsible for building reliable automation pipelines, creating tools and scripts to automate tasks such as repository cloning, permission mapping, branch restructuring, and metadata handling. Additionally, they will create and maintain automated validation/testing frameworks to ensure the integrity of migrated datasets.Main Responsibilities:Design and develop automated workflows to support the migration of source control systems from Perforce to GitHub.Create tools and scripts to automate tasks such as repository cloning, permission mapping, branch restructuring, and metadata handling.Develop automated validation/testing frameworks to ensure the integrity of migrated datasets.Work closely with DevOps, QA, and development teams to integrate migration automation into CI/CD pipelines.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong expertise in Perforce and Git/GitHub administration, workflows, and version control concepts.Hands-on experience with C++11 or later for programmatically managing Git repositories.Experience with SCM migration tools such as git-p4 and other relevant utilities.Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash/Shell) for automation and orchestration.Solid understanding of Git branching models, pull requests, repository governance, and access control.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker).Benefits:This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to take their skills to the next level and contribute to the success of our organization.About Us:We value innovation and collaboration, and we strive to create a work environment that fosters growth and learning.
