About our Quality Assurance Lead roleOur ideal candidate will be a seasoned expert in ensuring the quality of SaaS products, with experience working on B2B or multi-tenant systems.The successful candidate will lead automation initiatives to scale quality systems and evolve into a Head of Quality role within 24-36 months. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires someone who can architect scalable quality systems today.We're looking for a proactive problem-solver with expertise in Ruby on Rails backend-heavy environments. A solid understanding of AWS, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelines is also essential.This role involves setting up performance and load testing frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and driving a culture of proactive quality ownership.Key outcomes expected from this role include establishing a scalable automation framework, building data integrity testing systems, implementing performance and load testing, creating visibility into quality metrics through dashboards, and strengthening the QA team's technical capabilities.Key responsibilities will include leading QA engineering, owning product quality across releases, building and scaling test automation systems, partnering with Engineering to embed quality gates into CI/CD, defining and measuring key quality KPIs, conducting performance, scalability, and load testing, and working with Security/DevOps to validate data access, customer isolation, and SOC2 compliance controls.Mentorship and growth opportunities are available for the right candidate, with the potential to grow into a Head of Quality role within 12-18 months.
