Job Overview:We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to spearhead our data strategy and drive innovation within our microservices environment. As a key member of our MarTech team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that power the customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, design APIs, and deliver data-driven services.Architect and implement robust back-end services using a variety of software development toolkits and testing applications, while adhering to specific development best practices and quality standards.Analyze and troubleshoot issues across the back-end stack, including data pipelines, microservices, and APIs, as well as coding, testing, and implementing software enhancements.Develop and maintain data governance and API governance policies and standards across the microservices landscape.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of microservices principles, data engineering best practices, and back-end development.Experience with building scalable solutions using Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Scala/Java, SQL/SparkSQL, Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, Apache Storm, Cosmos DB, Redis, Kafka Ecosystem, Grafana, and Restful API Design Patterns.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and their data engineering and back-end services.Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures, strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.Experience with Node.js and knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YAML.Benefits:You'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers, contribute to the evolution of our data and application architecture, and lead and mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.Others:We're excited about candidates with a passion for technology and a drive to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and innovations in the field.
