Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications and services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust APIs and optimize existing code.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Koa, or similar.
  • Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
