We are looking for a visionary Head of Data Science to lead our AI/ML strategy and revolutionize our matchmaking platforms. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovation across personalized recommendations, fraud prevention, and customer engagement, using data science to redefine how people find love. Key Responsibilities:


  • AI/ML Strategy Leadership: Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap that powers personalized matchmaking, fraud detection, and real-time decision-making models to enhance user experiences.
  • Advanced Analytics for Business Growth: Lead the analytics initiatives that drive revenue growth, optimize conversion rates, and improve engagement by turning data into actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership & Innovation: Build, inspire, and lead a world-class data science team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Ensure timely execution of high-impact AI/ML projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership teams to align AI/ML innovations with business objectives, enhancing both product development and user satisfaction.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in data science, ensuring operational efficiency and scaling AI solutions that directly impact the business KPIs.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with top academic institutions and tech companies to stay at the forefront of AI/ML innovations.


Person Specifications:


  • Candidates should have at least 15 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, and machine learning, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in consumer tech, e-commerce, fintech, or similar industries, where customer data is leveraged for product development, personalization, and driving revenue growth.
  • A master’s degree from a Tier I institute or a Ph.D. in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, machine learning, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and large-scale data processing, with strong experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to align AI initiatives with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
