Safety Data Sheet SpecialistIn this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for international customers. Your primary function will be to cost-effectively prepare SDS documents that meet the requirements of various countries, including the US, EU, Canada, and others.Key Responsibilities:Author regulatory-compliant SDS/Labels for external customers in multiple jurisdictions.Conduct thorough searches of reference sources and supplier SDS to gather required information.Apply techniques to reconcile discrepancies in source data.Evaluate toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical properties of substances and products to determine hazards.Perform quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by other team members.Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the content and details of SDS/Labels to be delivered contractually.Provide related services such as regulatory training, compliance reviews, writing procedures, and consultation services.Requirements:3-5 years of work experience in a related field, preferably in sciences or product stewardship.Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering preferred.Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, such as REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC, and other country-specific regulations.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple assignments under tight deadlines.Familiarity with EH&S-related software and consulting experience an asset.Self-motivated individual with strong communication and teamwork skills.Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality results.What We Offer:At our company, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all colleagues.
