We are expanding our Digital Infrastructure Design Capability across all areas and are actively seeking an individual who has a strong enthusiasm for digital technologies and digital design methodologies. You will produce and review design drawings, calculations, and documents. Your role will involve planning and managing project delivery, ensuring designs are adequate and compliant with standards. You will collaborate with team members, lead the design process, and develop design drawings and documents. Your role will require a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations, and you will contribute to the mentoring and development of junior staff.Role:Designs, implements, and manages technological infrastructure for transportation networks like highways and urban systems.Key Responsibilities:Designing telecommunications networks and infrastructure.Creating and reviewing design drawings and documents.Collaborating with other disciplines and managing project delivery.Incorporating ITS technologies such as CCTV, vehicle detection, and emergency telephones.Required Skills:Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D.Experience with ProjectWise and SharePoint.Knowledge of ITS technologies and design standards.ResponsibilitiesDesired Skills:Experience with other ITS technologies such as Vehicle detection, Ramp metering, MIDAS, Telecommunication ducts and chambers, Equipment cabinets, and Emergency roadside telephones.Skilled in team management and collaboration activities.Key Competencies: The ability to work as part of a team in delivering designs and collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines. A strong understanding of roadside infrastructure and design standards is required.
