Electronic Devices Sourcing SpecialistThe role of Electronic Devices Sourcing Specialist is to drive the procurement of electronic devices and hardware.Job DescriptionDrive big RFPs with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with suppliers to optimize the total cost of ownership.Evaluate BOM, negotiate with key BOM suppliers and optimize it further.This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure that sourcing decisions are made based on thorough analysis and market research.Key Skills and Qualifications4-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement of various Electronic Devices, IT hardware, software including strategic supplier selection, contracting, software strategy planning and costing, ODM/OEM shortlisting.Mandatory experience of driving RFPs, negotiations, BOM level costing, purchase order management, contracts negotiation, supplier management, project management, E-Sourcing (Oracle/SAP).BenefitsCultivate deep-rooted relationships with supplier organizations and identify strategic opportunities with prospect of additional business development.Manage template supply agreements to streamline the procurement process, ensure consistency and apply lessons learned.Other ResponsibilitiesDevelop leading metrics and indices to manage supply/demand including commodity pricing, interest rates, exchange rates, manufacturing capacity and other market signals.Work with internal and external resources to stay informed on potential policy changes impacting current and future procurement strategies.
