Senior SAP ABAP ConsultantThe role involves working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver projects. This includes collaborating with team members to design, develop, implement, and maintain software applications using SAP's Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language.Key Responsibilities:Work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with team members to ensure successful project delivery;Design, develop, test, and implement new software features and enhancements using ABAP programming language and related tools;Develop and maintain high-quality code in compliance with coding standards and best practices;Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications;Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of code;Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in ABAP technology and industry trends to continually improve skills and knowledge;Contribute to knowledge sharing and transfer within the team by mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance;Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency;Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration;Other responsibilities as assigned by management.Requirements:10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP programming language, with at least 5 years in a senior consultant role;Extensive knowledge of SAP systems, including but not limited to SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori;Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles;Experience with API-based integration and Web Services is desirable;Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities;Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments;Ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner;Proficient in MS Office and other relevant tools.
