Key Role in IP Cell - Formulation TeamWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Intellectual Property Cell - Formulation team in Vikhroli, Mumbai. As a key member of our team, you will provide timely IP inputs to stakeholders, conduct patent searches, and evaluate innovative ideas for patent protection.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless product launches and align product strategy with cost-effective patent litigation and opposition.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of patent laws, regulations, and best practices. They will be able to identify new product opportunities, evaluate innovative ideas, and determine patentable inventions. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.In this role, you will have the opportunity to augment and bolster our patent estate by conducting thorough patent searches, filing and prosecuting patent applications, and providing strategic insights to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for undertaking due diligence of products, apprising stakeholders about key patent rights, and identifying acquisition or early launch potential.Support product development by providing timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders (RA, R&D etc.) to ensure smooth product launch.Provide insights in patent litigation and opposition to align with product strategy in a cost effective manner.Undertake due diligence of products to apprise stakeholders about key patent rights to identify acquisition or early launch potential.Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection and evaluate innovative ideas to identify new opportunities for patent protection/development for differentiated product.Conduct patent search in order to determine patentable inventions and consequently file and prosecute patent applications for augmenting and bolstering patent estate.Requirements:Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)/Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) with 8 years of relevant experience/Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) with 6 years of relevant experience preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.Should have relevant techno-legal experience with respect to regulated markets.Should have in-depth knowledge of Patent laws of India, US, and Europe.Should have an eye for detail and acumen for Paragraph IV filings in USA.A strong academic background and relevant industry experience are essential for this role.
