Job Title: SAP MM IS Retail Consultant


Experience: (10 – 15) Years


Job Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune & Mumbai.


Job Summary:

  • SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant.
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP IS-Retail.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
  • Design, customize, configure and test the SAP IS-Retail module.
  • Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
  • Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and users.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • At least 5 -7 years of work experience in relevant retail consulting services engagements or business environments, implementing or using Retail business processes and applications.
  • Experience with SAP Retail (in one of the following areas: Planning, Retail Financial, Merchandising: Rebates, Pricing and Promotions or Supply Chain).
  • Ability to support all stages of a SAP Retail implementation project Profound understanding of Retail business processes.
  • Understanding of integration points with the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently. Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Must be result-oriented and demonstrate a good attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to provide recommendations with regards to future business and solution opportunities.
  • Experience with 13-15 years of relevant experience in SAP along with strong Purchase / Stores domain in any of the industries like FMCG, Retail, Trading , Automobile , Retail ,Pharma ,Cement, Textiles.
  • Must have atleast 3-4 full lifecycle SAP S/4 Hana Implement Exp (Project Preparation to till Go-Live) and 2-3 Roll-out and 1 to 2 Support Project Exp. Experience in Hana Migration Project will be additional Advantage.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
  • Strong experience in Master data, Purchasing, Inventory, Account determination, invoice verification, batch management and special stocks is Mandatory.
  • Work self-directed and independently with good handling of integration points with FI, CO, PP, SD, QM, and EWM and experience in Data uploading tools like LSMW LTMC and LTMOM.
  • Good Knowledge on configurations of Purchasing, Pricing procedure, Inventory management, account determination and invoice verification.
  • Knowledge is required in Material master and vendor master functionalities, data base tables and relationship between the tables.
  • Strong knowledge on cutover data activities and SAP Best practices.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions, Document Functional Design Specifications, Test Cases and Results.
  • Good communication skills and client facing skills.
  • Should be able to work in the project independently and support to team.
  • Key Skills : SAP MM , SAP S/4 HANA Implementation, SAP GST, SAP WM.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Graduate of either B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering, Computer Applications, MBA Passionate about SAP, ready to learn and grow.
  • Business Travel: Project specific travelling is mandatory for all the SAP Consultants.
