We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr consultant specialist.In this role, you will:Technical SME for UNIX (RHEL), and associated technologies and automation using Ansible, Shell /Python Scripting and various autmation toolsWorking with lead solution and infrastructure architects to deliver quality, scalable and performant servicesResponsible for rollout of operational toolkits and service monitoring solutions required by the role to enhance the ability to troubleshoot and ultimately prevent customer facing issuesDelivery of new and upgraded Infrastructure servicesDelivery of security enhancements and fixes as requiredTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:UNIX (RHEL) certified desirablePublic cloud knwoledg and experience in AWS, Terraform, Python and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) – Certification of AWS is Preferred Knowledge of Websphere related products (WAS, Liberty, Portal) desirableEnd to end systems architecture knowledgeDevOps principles for efficient deliveryMentoring and supporting colleaguesInfrastructure design and architecture – collaboration with Solution Architect and Lead DevelopersYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
