Financial Operations Specialist Job DescriptionOur organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist with strong QuickBooks experience to support our finance operations.This role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping or accounts assistant background who is confident in managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.Record, process, and save purchase invoices in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate correlation with purchase orders.Assist with VAT calculations, prepare supporting documentation, and liaise with accountants to ensure timely and compliant submissions.Provide management accounts support and answer queries raised by external accountants.Organize, review, and process expense claims in QuickBooks; manage reimbursements for employees.Prepare and process supplier payments by raising requests in QuickBooks for authorization by bank signatories.Provide accountants with all required supporting documentation, including bank statements and transaction details.Regularly reconcile company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.Create and manage accounts in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate categorization and reporting.Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or Finance Officer.Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software (essential).Understanding of US VAT processes and compliance.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication skills for liaising with accountants and internal teams.
