Software Testing LeadAbout the RoleThis position oversees software testing to ensure products meet requirement specifications, use cases and user stories. The successful candidate will lead the development of test scripts from these sources.They will collaborate with other team members in conducting testing during development sprints and before product releases. This includes working with business analysts/product owners and customer representatives to verify if acceptance criteria are met.The role also involves collaborating with development team members to set up and run automated tests, write and maintain automated test scripts in specified tools. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist external test partners in performing specialist testing activities, such as load/performance testing.Key responsibilities include overseeing the software testing process, supporting the team in testing, interacting with stakeholders, collaborating with development team members, assisting external test partners, managing test environment deployments, improving efficiency within delivery teams, and conducting penetration and performance testing.Oversight of software testing against requirement specifications, use cases and user storiesSupporting the team in undertaking testing both during development sprints and in the lead up to product releasesInteracting with business analysts/product owners and other customer representativesCollaboration with development team members to set up and run automated testsAssistance to external test partners in carrying out specialist testing activitiesRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, ideally with a Computer Science or Engineering degree. They should have experience writing code with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or C#.
