Continental Hospitals, India’s first LEED qualified super specialty hospital is built on international standards and is designed to enhance the healing spaces with natural ventilation, safety, and privacy. The hospital has incorporated the safest standards in the world including fire, water resources, sanitation, and internal transportation systems. Continental Hospitals was founded by Dr Guru N Reddy in April 2013 to redefine healthcare in India by providing quality patient care with integrity, transparency, a collaborative approach, and evidence-based medicine.
The hospital has 16 Modular Green OTs, 90 Single-room ICU beds including Level 3 NICU and PICU, and is known for its efficient critical care team. Continental Hospitals has a special health check lounge and a dedicated area for international patients, state-of-the-art facilities and medical equipment, as well as the latest communication and information technology.

Leading the Charge for exceptional healthcare
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join our esteemed cardiology department at Continental Hospitals. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases, specializing in advanced interventional procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Perform detailed clinical assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
- Specialize in performing complex interventional procedures, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, stent placements, and other catheter-based interventions.
- Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, and ischemic heart disease.
- Patient Care:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients and ensure personalized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress, manage treatment plans, and adjust them as needed based on clinical outcomes.
- Provide counseling to patients regarding lifestyle changes, preventive care, and the management of heart conditions.
- Collaborative Approach:
- Work closely with a team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with hospital staff in performing non-invasive diagnostic tests like ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress testing.
- Teaching and Mentorship:
- Provide mentorship and training to junior doctors, residents, and medical students in the field of interventional cardiology.
- Participate in research and development activities to contribute to advancements in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all patient records are accurately documented, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
- Keep up to date with the latest research and best practices in interventional cardiology.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- DM in Cardiology
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in interventional cardiology, with hands-on experience in performing catheter-based procedures.
- Proven track record of working in a high-volume cardiology department.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
- Expertise in the latest interventional cardiology techniques and equipment.
- Excellent decision-making abilities and high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
