Your key responsibilities include executing tasks such as backup restore, user creation, schema modification, parameter tuning, monitoring DB health, resolving alerts within specified timeframes, validating daily backups, maintaining DR replication status, performing DB patching and revision upgrades, analyzing slow queries, and supporting Basis SMEs for performance issues.Your expertise will be crucial in managing SAP HANA DB architecture and tools, Oracle DB 11g/12c administration, OS (Linux and Windows Server), backup solutions (Commvault, Azure Backup Vault, AWS Snapshots), monitoring (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ServiceNow Events), and basic scripting in Bash or PowerShell.To succeed in this role, required certifications include SAP HANA DB Certification or Oracle Certified Associate. Additionally, a minimum of 2–15 years of experience in DB administration supporting SAP environments is necessary.
