About our OrganizationWe are a non-profit organization aiming to strengthen the public education system and support schools in fostering children's holistic development through values-based learning environments and life-skills education.Our vision is attainable by engaging with the school system in a proactive and collaborative manner, building on the strengths of all stakeholders.The RoleWe are looking for individuals with excellent training skills to undertake the training of teachers/resource persons/Government officials at the district level as part of our flagship programme "Mulyavardhan" in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport in designing need-based capacity building programmes, content development, case studies, and training modulesConduct online/offline training for teachers and other school stakeholdersDocument capacity building, handholding visits, and maintain records regularlyCompile, analyze, discuss, and finalize region-wise specific capacity building needs in consultation with the HeadFrequent field visits to project schools to conduct classroom observations, understand challenges/difficulties of teachers, and provide supportSupport programme team in identification and documentation of good practices and case studiesPrepare and submit reports about developments made towards achieving planned objectivesRequirementsExcellent spoken and written communication skills in English, and good facilitation skills in Marathi and HindiExcellent presentation/delivery skillsAble to relate to trainees at all levelsMulti-tasking and adherence to strict timelinesStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to encourage and motivate peopleHard-working, self-starter, and team player with a strong commitment to workAdvanced proficiency in computer skills (MS Office)Preferred QualificationsBachelor's/Master's degree in education, social sciences, social work, or development studiesExperience in the field of education and teacher education2-5 years of experience in capacity building/training, and post-training supportPlease note that this job description is for reference purposes only.This role involves traveling across districts in Maharashtra.This role reports to the Head of Capacity Building.This is a challenging opportunity for those who wish to contribute to improving the education sector in India.Ultimately, we seek to create a positive impact on society through effective implementation of our programme.
