Job Title: Business Intelligence EngineerCraft end-to-end data pipelines using medallion architecture patterns (bronze, silver, gold layers)Create and optimize large-scale data transformations using SQL for data analysisDevelop dimensional data models, aggregations, and KPI calculations in the gold layer for business insightsIngest data from multiple source systems including databases, APIs, and file-based sourcesKey Responsibilities:Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating dataAwareness of SQL performance optimization techniques and adherence to best practicesCrafting data pipelines following established architecture patternsDeveloping data transformations using SQL for large-scale data processingDimensional data modeling, aggregations, and KPI calculations for analytics consumptionData ingestion from various source systemsNecessary Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in building production-grade data pipelines and writing complex SQL queries.Advanced SQL skills including query performance tuning, window functions, CTEs, and complex queries.Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing concepts.Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools: Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.Knowledge of data lake storage formats: Delta Lake, Parquet, or Iceberg.Familiarity with data quality frameworks and implementing validation rules at scale; knowledge of Great Expectations or similar data quality testing frameworks.
