About Us: JK Lucent Pty Ltd is a global IT services provider, delivering cutting-edge digital marketing, software development, and IT solutions to clients across Australia and New Zealand. As we expand our digital marketing services, we are looking to establish a dedicated SEO practice in our Infopark office, Chalakkudy, Kerala. We are seeking a hands-on SEO Lead to take ownership of our SEO services, working directly on tasks and building a high-performing team to drive results.


Job Description: The SEO Lead will be responsible for both executing SEO tasks and managing the SEO team. This is a hands-on role, requiring the ideal candidate to actively participate in the daily SEO activities while setting up and leading the SEO team. The SEO Lead will work with minimal supervision, meeting with overseas clients, gathering requirements, providing SEO strategy plans, and executing the tasks to deliver optimal SEO results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Hands-on execution of SEO tasks, including keyword research, on-page optimization, off-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and link-building.
  • Set up and lead the SEO team, including recruitment, training, and day-to-day management of team members.
  • Build effective SEO practices and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to drive organic search performance, delivering measurable improvements for clients.
  • Meet overseas clients via video calls (e.g., TEAMS) to gather requirements, present SEO strategies, and provide detailed walkthroughs of plans.
  • Conduct technical audits using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor SEO performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, and conversions, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with web developers and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across websites and digital content.
  • Train and mentor junior SEO resources, ensuring they stay up-to-date with SEO trends and develop strong SEO skills.
  • Stay current with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continually improve SEO strategies.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience with a strong track record of driving organic search performance.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little to no supervision, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Expertise in all areas of SEO, including keyword research, on-page/off-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building.
  • Experience in setting up and managing an SEO team, with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships, gathering requirements, and providing SEO strategy plans.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior SEO team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present SEO data and strategies to clients and internal teams clearly.
  • Proficiency in English for client interactions.
