In the last 10 years, they've helped 100s of businesses start, scale and succeed with a range of innovative solutions, expert advice and first class customer service, funding over $3bn of invoices and processing payroll for over 120,000 timesheets.development.About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Fullstack Tech Lead with strong backend development and AWS/DevOps experience to spearhead the technical foundation of a new payment platform. You'll play a pivotal role in defining the architecture, guiding the technology choices, and establishing best-practice engineering standards. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical direction of a greenfield project, setting up AWS accounts, CI/CD pipelines, and implementing modern, scalable fullstack solutions. Experience with payment systems or payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) and secure transaction processing will be highly valued, as you'll help design and implement robust payment workflows and integrations.RequirementsKey Responsibilities ● Lead Fullstack development with a strong focus on backend, scalability, performance, and maintainability. ● Design and implement the application architecture, APIs, and system integrations. ● Set up and manage AWS infrastructure, including environment provisioning, Identify and access management, networking, and monitoring. ● Establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure robust build, test, and deployment processes.● Collaborate on technology decisions, particularly around backend stack (initially and TypeScript) and frameworks. ● Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards. ● Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver features on time. ● Ensure best practices in security, testing, and DevOps automation are followed. Required Skills & Experience ● 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role. ● Strong backend development expertise, ideally with and TypeScript (or comparable languages i.e. Java or Golang). ● Proven AWS experience – building, deploying, and managing production workloads. ● Solid understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (i.e..
