The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, and develop design concepts accordingly.
  • Create mood boards, and layouts that reflect client vision and requirements.
  • Utilize space planning principles to optimize functionality and flow within the design.
  • Research and recommend materials, finishes, furniture, and decor that align with the design vision and project budget.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Oversee the project timeline, budget, and resources, ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and compliance with design standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, design innovations, and sustainable practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Diploma degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max,Coohom).
  • Excellent communication,client handling and interpersonal skills.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing previous design projects and concepts..
