Job Title: Integration Data SpecialistThe Integration Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data flow, precise transformation logic, and accurate availability for Power BI consumption.Key Responsibilities:Analyze mainframe JCL jobs, COBOL programs, and batch workflows to extract transformation rules and logic.Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping (STTM) documents for efficient integration.Define data transformation, aggregation, and derivation rules to ensure accuracy and consistency.Collaborate with Data Engineers to validate Snowflake data pipelines and optimize performance.Partner with Reporting Analysts to guarantee data supports Power BI requirements and deliverables.Conduct comprehensive data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks between legacy and modern platforms.Primary Skills: Proven expertise in data analysis, mapping, and lineage documentation with strong analytical skills.Good understanding of mainframe data ecosystems (COBOL, VSAM, DB2, flat files), SQL, and ETL tools (Databricks, Matillion).Ability to analyze JCL and batch processing logic with attention to detail.Experience in data validation and reconciliation during migrations with excellent problem-solving skills.Secondary Skills: Familiarity with Snowflake architecture, data modeling concepts, and API-based integration.Exposure to Data Mesh and its applications in real-world scenarios.Understanding of data governance, metadata, and cataloging tools for efficient data management.
