Job Title: Senior Electromechanical EngineerAbout the Role:The Senior Electromechanical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, analysis and integration of mechanical and electrical systems for large-scale, technically demanding projects. This includes developing system calculations, engineering specifications, detailed drawings and ensuring compliance with international standards.Key Responsibilities:System Design & Integration: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and integrating electromechanical systems to ensure seamless interaction between electrical and mechanical components for optimal performance and safety.Technical Documentation: Preparing calculations, layouts, schematics, equipment specifications and system descriptions for electromechanical solutions is a key aspect of this role.Software & Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks and relevant simulation tools is essential for supporting system modeling and design accuracy.BIM & Coordination: Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams using BIM platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to ensure system alignment with architectural, mechanical and electrical models is required.Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all designs comply with ISO, IEC, ASME and local regulations including national building codes and safety standards is crucial.Client Interaction: Engaging with clients to understand requirements, presenting system designs and ensuring expectations are met is an important part of this role.Authorities:Approving electromechanical design documents under the supervision of the Lead Electromechanical Engineer.Validating system designs for compliance with standards and client requirements.Leading internal audits and technical reviews when required.Making decisions on system specifications, material choices and design approaches under supervision.Escalating risks, technical concerns or potential delays to the Lead Electromechanical Engineer.Requirements:A bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (required).A master's degree or other advanced qualifications are considered a plus.Professional certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PMP) are highly desirable.
