Job OpportunityThe GCP Cloud Developer will be responsible for leading enterprise application migrations from on-premise environments to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves reviewing existing application architectures, advising on cloud best practices, and actively removing technical blockers to ensure smooth migration and modernization.Main Responsibilities:Application Architecture Review: Assess current application architectures and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-optimized GCP-native designs.Migration Support: Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute migration strategies, including rehosting, refactoring, and replatforming.Cloud Services Expertise: Provide guidance on GCP services, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance.Blocker Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve migration challenges related to networking, identity management, data transfer, and application dependencies.Team Collaboration: Work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.Knowledge Documentation: Maintain migration playbooks, architecture diagrams, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.Required Skills:Strong knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).Experience with application migration strategies and tools.Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.Ability to quickly identify and remediate technical blockers.This position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
