Role & responsibilities:Cost Estimation and AnalysisPrepare cost estimates for components, assemblies, and BOMsConduct cost analysis using benchmarksValidate supplier quotations with internal cost modelsSupport pricing decisions and supplier negotiationsCost Tracking and OptimizationTrack actual vs estimated costs across projectsIdentify cost variances and root causesRecommend cost-saving opportunities through VA/VESupport cost reduction initiatives with cross-functional teamsCost Reporting and DocumentationMaintain costing database and master sheetsPrepare dashboards and visual summaries for managementGenerate cost reports for internal/external auditsSupport finance and sourcing teams with cost dataCross-functional CoordinationWork with design, sourcing, and finance teamsParticipate in NPD costing reviewsSupport procurement in cost validationPreferred candidate profileCandidate must have min 2 years of experience in costin gin automotive company.Technical Skills:Cost Modeling & AnalysisProficiency in MS Excel & ERP (SAP/Oracle)Understanding of Manufacturing ProcessesProject Cost Tracking ToolsBehavioral Skill:Strong Communication SkillsTask OrientedTime ManagementPresentation Skills
