Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Production Manager at Torani India in Noida. The Senior Production Manager will oversee day-to-day production tasks, manage production schedules, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and ensure quality control and efficiency in the production process.
Qualifications
Experience in production management, vendor coordination, and quality control
Knowledge of garment construction, production processes, and textiles
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Production Management, or related field
Managing Production in the entire Department or the zone allocated and ensuring smooth functioning of the same.
Understanding the Order Forms received from the showroom, getting them processed from the team at the right time while ensuring the right quality.
Ensure smooth operations and co-ordination with all the departments (Stitching, Merchandising, Dying, Packet Issuance, Procurement & Fabric).
Examining the finished product carefully and looking for flaws in them.
Rectifying the flaws found in manufacturing on an immediate basis.
Ensuring that all manufacturing targets are met.
ERP software implementation in the organization.
Ensure that no wrongly made pieces & late deliveries happen in the organization.
Hiring workers for the factory and providing training to them – Masters as well as Karigars.
Need to ensure that only productive and high-quality workers stay in organization and average ones are churned on a regular basis.
Coordination between store and factory for the pieces or other things and issues.
Ensuring all the reports and records in all the departments are up to date.
Creating and implementing a Time & Action plan for the department.
Ensuring that all the material required currently and in near future is available.
Ensuring that there is no wastage of material by labor or management.
Managing the Vendors – relationship with the existing ones and adding new ones, giving sufficient work to all the vendors and maintaining a proper balance.
Act as a Quality Control person in the organization.
Working out and managing the Costing of all the pieces.
Order Management.
Improve upon the overall quality of the garments in general.
