Job Overview:As a Lead DFT Engineer, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge digital test engineering solutions. This key position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation and verification of DFT features across complex SoC/ASIC designs.Develop and execute a comprehensive DFT strategy that ensures world-class testability and manufacturability of silicon products.Lead the implementation and validation of essential DFT components, including:Scan insertion and compressionATPG pattern generation and fault gradingMBIST and Logic BIST insertion and validationBoundary scan (IEEE 1149.1/1149.6), IJTAG (1687)Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end DFT flow, from RTL to gate-level netlist and silicon bring-up. Collaboration with RTL, STA, PD, and test engineering teams is crucial for seamless integration.You will be responsible for developing patterns, simulating faults, and closing debug test coverage gaps. Additionally, you will oversee DFT signoff, timing closure, and ATE pattern delivery.Effective communication and mentorship are vital in guiding junior engineers through design reviews and training sessions. Creating and maintaining DFT automation scripts and infrastructure are also essential duties.
