JOB DESCRIPTION 2: IoT / SCADA Integration Engineer Title: IoT & SCADA Integration Engineer — Stealth Mode Climate-TechLocation: Hybrid / Chennai / BengaluruCompensation: 40,000 per month About UsWe are developing an advanced data and hardware integration layer for a large-scale climate-tech platform.We work with industrial data systems, sensors, meters, and automation interfaces.Role OverviewYou will build the data ingestion layer for the platform.This involves integrating industrial protocols and converting real-world measurements into secure digital data streams.What You Will Do Read data from industrial meters & sensorsIntegrate Modbus RTU/TCP, DLMS/COSEM, MQTTBuild IoT gateway firmware (ESP32/Raspberry Pi)Convert field data → JSON for backend APIImplement secure transmission & timestampingWork with EPC teams or industrial techniciansTest systems on-site (optional)Required SkillsModbus RTU/TCPDLMS smart meter readingMQTT / HTTPESP32 / Raspberry Pi firmwareBasic electrical understandingJSON data transformationSCADA familiarity (OPC-UA optional)Nice to HaveSolar/industrial IoT exposureExperience with any monitoring platformsKnowledge of energy systems or automationMindsetHands-onProblem solverComfortable working in industrial environmentsCan prototype fastWhy Join Us?Stealth-mode, high-impact problemBuild a global IoT ingestion systemFounding engineer role with ownership
