Job Title: Oracle Exadata EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Exadata Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our Exadata infrastructure. This role involves end-to-end ownership of Exadata builds—from planning and installation to operational support and handoff to DBA teams.Main Responsibilities:Exadata Deployment & ArchitectureLead the deployment of new Exadata systems, including farm design and capacity planning. Prepare and manage installation artifacts such as CPFs (Change Tickets) and OEDA configurations. Finalize system hostnames and IP addresses following network allocation. Update DNS entries for all Exadata components and spine/leaf switches.Pre-Installation ActivitiesOpen Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and upload OEDA/OECA documentation. Run CheckIP scripts and upload results to Oracle SRs. Create CRs/CPFs for site teams to install spine switches. Coordinate with Oracle to configure spine switches.Rack Installation PreparationSubmit RITMs for multiracking activities. Create CRs for Oracle to perform EIS/1ENG (one per day). Create RITMs for site teams to install Oracle/Cisco management switches.System Build (OneCommand)Onboarding & ConfigurationPre-Handover to DBA TeamOperational SupportRequired Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills in Oracle Exadata, strong communication skills, and experience working in an IT environment.
