Lead DFT Engineer: A Key Role in Complex SoC/ASIC DesignsJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned Lead DFT Engineer to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive DFT architectures for complex SoC/ASIC designs. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving world-class testability and manufacturability of silicon products.Key Responsibilities:Develop and drive DFT strategies and architectures for multiple ASIC/SoC projects, ensuring seamless integration with RTL, STA, PD, and test engineering teams.Lead the implementation and verification of DFT features, including scan insertion and compression, ATPG pattern generation and fault grading, MBIST and Logic BIST insertion and validation, boundary scan, IJTAG, and end-to-end DFT flow management.Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery.Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you must possess:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or VLSI Design.At least 7 years of experience in DFT for complex ASIC or SoC designs, with expertise in scan insertion, compression, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan.Hands-on experience with DFT tools such as Synopsys, Siemens EDA, and Cadence.Strong knowledge of RTL design, STA, and synthesis flows.Proficiency in scripting languages for flow automation.Deep understanding of silicon test challenges and test coverage improvement.Excellent leadership, team collaboration, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:While not mandatory, candidates with experience in hierarchical DFT and low-power DFT methodologies, post-silicon validation and failure analysis, familiarity with safety-critical designs and functional safety, and working in advanced nodes will be highly valued.
