Job Title: Backend Software Engineer for Real-Time CommunicationsThis role involves helping build robust and scalable back-end services that power real-time communications analytics and automation at scale. The backend engineer will design APIs, process streaming data, and integrate with voice/telephony and cloud services to deliver low-latency, high-reliability experiences.Key Responsibilities:Design and Ship Back-End APIs: Develop and deploy efficient and secure back-end APIs using Django/DRF, background/async jobs with Celery/RQ, and integrations with external services.Data Pipeline Management: Build and optimize real-time data pipelines for call/quality metrics; own observability, tracing, and SLOs (p95/p99).Troubleshooting and Automation: Troubleshoot SIP/VoIP issues using packet captures and logs; automate analysis where possible.Containerization and Cloud Deployment: Containerize workloads with Docker, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate on cloud deployment (Azure/AWS).Distributed Systems Patterns: Apply idempotency, retries, backoff, circuit breakers for scale and fault tolerance.Database Modeling: Model data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB; tune indexes/queries; maintain migration discipline.AI/ML Development: Prototype AI/ML features for analytics, anomaly detection, and conversational agents.Requirements:Languages: Proficiency in Python, experience with JavaScript a plus.Frameworks: Familiarity with Django, DRF, Celery, RQ.Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure or AWS.Database Systems: Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Containerization: Experience with Docker.CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Benefits:Professional Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and skill development.Collaborative Environment: Work with a team of experienced professionals.Flexible Work Arrangements: Options for remote work and flexible schedules.Competitive Compensation: Market-competitive salary and benefits package.
