Role Description
We're hiring a Sales Associate for our fast-growing Digital Marketing Agency, based in Bangalore, with hybrid work flexibility. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities with businesses looking to scale their digital presence. Your daily responsibilities will include researching and reaching out to potential clients (across sectors like e-commerce, tech startups, service businesses, etc.), understanding their marketing challenges, presenting tailored digital marketing solutions (performance marketing, content strategy, branding, etc.), negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term client relationships. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and business objectives are achieved.
Key Tasks:
- Identify and prospect new clients actively via cold outreach, inbound leads, and industry networks
- Conduct discovery calls to understand business needs and pitch digital marketing solutions (SEO, paid ads, content marketing, branding, influencer marketing)
- Develop and deliver compelling product/service presentations customized for client challenges
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive renewals and upsells
- Collaborate with the internal team (creatives, strategists, media buyers) to ensure smooth handoffs post-sale
- Track and report on sales pipeline, performance, and forecast using CRM tools
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends, competitor services, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Sales skills: Proven track record in sales, ability to meet sales targets, and experience in client relationship management
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present and demonstrate products effectively
- Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with sales reporting and analytics
- Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in technology is a plus
