The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of BigCommerce development, including customizing themes, building apps, and optimizing store performance.The key responsibilities of this position include:Developing and customizing BigCommerce themes and templates to create engaging e-commerce experiences.Building, extending, and optimizing BigCommerce apps and integrations using APIs.Implementing custom functionalities, including checkout customizations, product page enhancements, and dynamic pricing rules.Optimizing website performance, security, and responsiveness.Troubleshooting and resolving BigCommerce platform-related issues.Working closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to enhance the user experience.Integrating third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping APIs, and CRM solutions.Maintaining clean, well-documented, and scalable code.Staying updated with the latest BigCommerce trends, best practices, and technologies.Required skills and qualifications include:At least 2 years of experience in BigCommerce development.A strong knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil framework and Liquid templating.Hands-on experience with BigCommerce API (REST & GraphQL) integrations.Experience in Headless Commerce and PWA implementations (preferred).Familiarity with e-commerce SEO and performance optimization techniques.Experience with version control systems like Git.The ability to work in an agile development environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Proficiency in custom app development using Node.js/PHP.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
